HEALTHY RELATIONSHIPS
DBT Skills Group
An 8-week, virtual group designed to help equip adults with tools to improve communication, navigate relationships, and achieve desired outcomes while maintaining self-respect and respecting others. These skills are crucial for building and maintaining healthy relationships, resolving conflicts, and advocating for ourselves.
Fridays 12-1 pm | January 16-March 6
Relationships are hard. To make things even harder, many of us weren't taught how to have relationships, or worse, our models showed us very ineffective ways to handle relationships!
DBT Interpersonal Effectiveness gives us the skills and strategies to interact well with others. These skills can help us build and maintain positive relationships (as well as leave behind harmful relationships), communicate needs and wants effectively, and manage conflicts in a healthy way. Interpersonal effectiveness skills are necessary for interacting with others in a way that is assertive, maintains self-respect, and strengthens relationships.
This Healthy Relationships DBT Skills Group will help you to:
-
Ask for what you need and say no effectively
-
Strengthen current relationships and end destructive ones
-
Find balance in relationships with others
