The Group Therapy Blueprint

Stop Overthinking and Launch Your First Group

The practical, friction-free blueprint for real therapists to develop, launch, and run sustainable groups—without sacrificing your sanity or clinical quality.

2-Hour Live Virtual Masterclass | August from 9-11 am | CEU Approved for LPC/LCSW in Oklahoma

The Clinical Power is Clear.
The Execution is Where We Get Stuck.

You already know that groups are magic: That when clients sit in a room with peers who just get it, the normalization and universality do things that individual therapy simply cannot do.

You also know the math: Serving more people in less time keeps your practice financially stable while making therapeutic care accessible to more folks.

But then the overthinking hits:

  • “What if nobody signs up?”

  • “What do I charge so it’s fair to them but profitable for my time?”

  • “How do I protect myself and my group members from things getting messy?”

So, the group idea stays hidden in your phone notes. You keep trading one hour for one fee. You keep hitting the ceiling of your earning potential and your energy. And the clients that desperately need that specific kind of therapeutic community keep waiting.

You've taken the group therapy classes back at university. You don’t need more theoretical training.

You need an operational blueprint.

Introducing: The Group Therapy Blueprint

This is not a dry, academic lecture. This is a 2-hour tactical masterclass designed to take you from a vague group idea to a fully formed launch strategy with bulletproof policies.

Inside the 2-Hour Masterclass, We Break Down:

  • Group Design & Modality Selection
Learn how to align your niche with the perfect group structure. We will review the core dynamics of short-term skills-based groups, interpersonal process-oriented models, and mutual support groups so you can select the exact format that aligns with your clinical specialties and operational bandwidth.

  • Financial Structure
No more guessing your rates. We will discuss the logistics and ethics of group fee structures (private-pay models vs. insurance optimization metrics) using a backward-design framework.

  • Filling Your Group

Discover how to ethically populate your group without resorting to aggressive sales tactics. You will learn how to perform a clinical audit of your existing caseload, utilize peer consultation networks, and structure professional community outreach to naturally source appropriate referrals for your group offerings.

  • Screening & Policies
Establish the administrative boundaries and onboarding systems needed to protect your clients and your practice before the first group session. Assuming standard clinical screening competency, we will focus on the practical application of screening and intake processes. We will review essential group-level policies including attendance and payment requirements, late arrival and cancellation protocols, out-of-session boundaries, and specialized multi-client confidentiality agreements.

Stop overthinking and let's get started.

It's completely normal to feel a spike of anxiety when stepping outside the comfort zone of one-on-one therapy. You will never feel 100% ready before you start.

But your community needs the group you're holding back.

We’ll pull away the administrative friction and you will leave this 2-hour virtual training with the practical skills you need to launch your first group.
